the title of this thread is "whats the number", considering the average savings is 60k and will be 230k by retirment or 65 for most so you all aint living in a 10,000 square foot mansion on the california coast but there is another way if you are not a consumer addict. i cab retire whenever as i am not.

It's pretty useful for computing continuous compounding.

You probably made that just from GME trades in the last year, right? Ever considered running a fund and letting mags invest? How illegal would that be?

We skipped the 529 and bought real estate in 2006-2010. All in, even with taxes, it was a way ahead move.
