I've got a Dakine bike bag. Just barely fits my size small 27.5 bike. To fit my medium 29er I think I'd have to remove the fork from the frame.Quote:

Our Dakines fit my size medium 29er Enduro bike no problem, I think it would fit at least a large easily. I think I got first one in 2019? Agree it's relatively light, protects well, and handles well.
I ripped the rubber hood (or cowl?) on my Shimano Claris shifter / brake bracket assembly. Having a hard time finding a replacement. Lots of hoods for 105, Tiagra etc. Any chance there's any cross compatibility with these?

2019 roval control wheelset with xd driver off an epic. Want to convert to microspline. Formula hubs branded specialized. Do any of you know if a microspline driver exists for this. Can’t seem to get through to anyone at specialized that knows, and the formula customer response looks Chinese.

My TMI non sarcastic response. The wheels have sat unridden. They look new. They are for a NICA bike for my daughter, and are less than half my current hook up for the same new. Although the same new have warranty and DT Swiss, which is better. I am struggling with spending this much on a kids bike, even though she is having success. I had guilty feelings after lifting some of her peers bikes and realizing they were much lighter, but also struggling with spending more on a wheelset than my first mountain bike.Quote:

If I cross reference that HG freehub to a micro spine version it comes up with a part# of S212100003.
It does not list the Epic as a compatible bike, but only because it did not have a 12s Shimano cassette as original spec. But a few bikes on the compatibility list for the micro spline frehub part # show up on both the HG and MS part numbers, leading me to believe that the they are both compatible on the Formula FH-510B hub.
I just want to throw out a thank you to Dee for regularly dropping in here with a level of technical detail and knowledge that would be very difficult to replicate for most of us. It's great to have that kind of deep expertise on our side!
