ectree, how was the actual skiing down? What time were you making turns? I gotta hankering for some skiing and as I have crampons the walk up is a non issue.
skiing down was goddamn miserable, large suncups, quite a few rocks everywhere, but they were august turns. we skied about 1230-1 or so, it was definitely a little better where the sun was hitting and a bit softer on top but really, unless you're trying to go TAY or something it's not worth it. hopefully timp has some better offerings.

Well, basically from the pass down to twins. I wasn't skiing them when lost, so I couldn't say exactly where. The kid gave me his remaining one because he was leaving town and showed me on a picture the general vicinity. I have searched up and down and can't find the fucker.
