We went the long way back home from Abram to avoid getting caught in that snarl, but the traffic was back to flowing at least near the rt 2/Sunday River Rd intersection. Parking must be full on the hill, because they're using the Brew Pub as overflow and running shuttles from there.
Mt. Abram was also on the (relatively) crowded side, fair number of cars parked on the road by Westside even by 9:05. When we left around 10, I had someone ask if I was leaving and if I'd wait a minute so he could grab his car from across the street and take my spot. I suppose it's a good problem to have, but it makes weekend planning a bit more challenging.

Kicked her out right at the first brewery, her buddy was just behind us. BMoM was fun. I definitely saw plenty of maggot looking folks. Fun day
Thinking Jay tomorrow leaving from Berlin. Tram and freezer were on wind hold/ shut down all day Saturday so……..
It was pretty windy up top. Also extremely crowded by my standards. Plenty of people hiking up from bonaventure.
These weekend crowds kill the vibe, make weekend planning tricky, and make my feet really cold.

Jay is in great shape, most of the goods were gotten yday when all lifts ran though we have gotten a decent dusting on top since yday. Lines at the Bonnie and Jet were 20-30min today. Probably should have just gone to Big Jay but I had kids in tow. Timbuktu still has some fresh stashes.
Winds also decently high tomorrow but slightly diff direction so maybe flyer/tram run
Thanks for the intelligence. 🕵️♂️. Im thinking a minor cloud event is happening now and we would really love to spend the day in the woods.
We actually headed out at 10:45 or so. Got there at 8 to beat the crowds. Did make an IMPORTANT DISCOVERY for anyone driving through Gorham, NH. The sammiches at the Butcher’s Daughter are delicious, fresh, HUDGE and cheep. And their Heath Bar cookies? Might be the best cookie ever made.
