more great pics. Are you on the Zambesi in August? I have a friend who is going to be there and looking for an outfitter recommend. Can she request you? Great gal. Ran her own boat down the Grand Canyon and boats all over WA and ID, so it ain't her first rodeo but it may be the biggest.
thx.
I work the summer season here in truckee, so I don't get out to Zambia until mid september. I work for SafPar (Safari Par Excellence) which is the biggest company on the Zambian side, and to be completely honest, I would say that we have the best trained guides and highest saftey standard on the river when it comes to one and two day trips. If she's interested in kayak guiding or instruction, or the most extreme and fun ducky trip in the world, then Water By Nature is a good company to contact. If you want to PM me more details about her trip like where she'll be (zambia or zimbabwe) or other activities to do in the area (there are a ton, and some are phenomenal and some are over rated) then i'd be happy to give some more detailed advice.
^ Aren't you people a little too fat to be trying something like rafting?
That kid's facial expression is priceless!

I thought the old Americas Cup PFDs were big, the ones they're wearing are twice the size
They won't missher, guides concentrating on the two up front.

Now when the water gets here you have to be ready.
Man. I usually like a carnage video but that was pretty scary. Bunch of pins and hits that made me cringe.
OMG, i would think someone died in there.
Not my pic but there were some good ones in here from this blog.

Love this thread.
Nu season, nu carnage.
Thats some pretty good carnage. Someone with more time and skills that me should find a video by some Gauley safety boaters with the props and running commentary. Also "Yule Creek Kayak" and "Zambezi Rafting" should have some good results.
