What's not clear to me is why you don't understand that the spelling and usage cop routine is boring and many of us are busy at work making a quick post. As compared to you who are obviously not very busy with nothing better to do but rag on usage.

And now more trouble for Mr. Nobis. He missed his first court appearance today and now has a $5K warrant out for him. Sounds like his attorney didn't think he would need to be there in person after talking to the prosecution side. I guess the judge has a policy that doesn't let anyone miss their first appearance. Hopefully this part of it gets worked out before he returns from BC in a few weeks.

hmmmmm. I wonder if the RCMP monitor this message board? Regardless, Nobis may not be seeing too much of Canada in the future if he ends of with a felony conviction.

the RCMP wont care, but going back through US customs will be a good adrenaline spike for Nobis.

x-border NHL games would see lots of players out of the line-up if that were the case. if Canada pardoned Martha Stewart so she could attend a pumkin boat race, they'll let Nobis in for work reasons.

I kinda hope this evolves into a situation where those bounty hunter peeps from TV try to bring in Nobis and TGR captures all that shit on film. That would be sweet.

Ouch...And when Nobis shows up to quash his warrant, I am gonna guess that the judge isn't going to really accept, "But your honor I had to go heli skiing in BC." Wonder if his attorney regularly appears in Summit County and/or before this judge to know whether he can waive his client's presence at arraignment. Our judges will allow it if the attorney files a notice either in advance or on the day of the hearing.

I heard something similar, without the "Run, Ronnie, Run" segment. But that's speculative.

I know people with DUI convictions on their record that are not allowed into Canada and they are married to Canadians. I would say "Welcome to the Glen Plake School of Sponsorship Mr. Nobis."

My little brother has had a couple of convictions, numerous cousins with multiple convictions. My little bro had the breath alyzer in his truck and my Mom couldn't make it green one night to get everyone home...but things are different in the country.

Actual charges were not mentioned. If one is extremely bored this afternoon, they could go to www.kpcw.org and listen to the station online. The stories are usually repeated every couple of hours.
