This is my brother in law's shot taken from Beehive Basin (near Big Sky) last winter. Does it have a name?

Glad to see the revival of this thread. Not sure of the name but these beauties are located on Whistler Mountain and viewable from Highway 20. I'm sure someone from Mazama or Winthrop would have the beta.

i know in the original post Baffin island was ruled too inaccessible, but that was back in '05, this '07 man... so my vote: Baffin island - polar star couloir (images Brad Barlage):

From http://www.summitpost.org/mountain/r...sun-spire.html
"Polar Sun Spire is located on the western coast of the central section of Baffin Island. The closest town in a small Inuit settlement called Clyde River which is a 3-5 day walk or a full 1 hour flight away." Go get it boyz!
Love this thread, I like to see it on the front page so I will add a little stoke of my own
Grizzly Couloir, not too far from Loveland Pass and with fewer unprepared snowboarders in it

Not much of a couloir but fun as it's unique and very hard to find. The crappy pic is due to a disposable 35mm.

Not necessarily THE best, but a good one, and looking up at it today reminded me of this thread. Somebody tried to go up it, but it looked like they got turned around at the ice choke. Ruby chute, taken 2-7-07
