The green boston city connect is better than the real uni. is that a first? they should keep it.
Look at the Sox winning one run games for a change, young fun team to watch
How sweep it is!
Also, loooooollllllll

Wally with the broom, love it!
Sox trade Devers to SF, didn’t see that coming
Sent from my iPad using TGR Forums
Sox are going all in on the youth movement. Devers not hustling down the line about ten days ago, the look on our skippers face said it all
Barry never ran out ground balls. He was pretty good.
I'm stoked for this trade. We finally got a bat! Trade was the only way we were going to get a top 10 hitter to come to our park.
10 minutes until Shohei pitches. 15 minutes until Shohei leads off. How lucky are we to witness greatness?
Pretty lucky. Too bad it's being wasted in the shithole of La La land. But I watched.
Guardos City Connects are so good looking. Kinda a modern version of the Tribe's 80s and 90s unis. No shortage of people that like them better than the regular unis but I'm a traditionalist so...
Nice to see the Guards figure out a way to ruin Devers SF debut and actually score more than 1 run on this road trip. Win win.
Dog days of summer and the cream is rising to the top. Dodgers with the best record in baseball and the giants and padres currently out of playoff position. Doing it all with more injuries than anyone.
Kershaw day and he sits at [emoji638],[emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640][emoji637]]][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640][emoji637]]][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji639]] K’s. He’s the last of a dying breed of starters. Decent chance he’s the last to ever do it.
July baseball!
lots of congrats for the All Stars; Fresh Prince behind the dish for the NL, the best 1 bagger in the game for the last 5 + years on first for the NL
Bmills gets Lindor at short for the senior Cricut ( hell I voted for him as he is so good and while Mookie is a great player he is a meh shortstop) and his man Jose Ramirez deservedly at the hot corner for the AL.
and you know I have to mention my favorite player on my favorite team
Clayton Edward 3KKershaw still getting it done 17 years after I saw him fan only 2 at Shea
Rockies win!!!!!
10 game schnide finally ended last night for my Guardos. If they can’t get the bats going it’s gonna be a real long second half for this fan.
Jacob Misiorowski is the sickest young pitcher I have seen in a while. Absolutely filthy for the Brewers last night. fanned 14 Dodgers, a good team that doesnt chase.
stuff is next level. Remember that name

Sox needed some wins, perfect timing with the Nats and Rockies. I like this team, Ceddanne is so fun to watch in centerfield and he rips it at the plate, my favorite player this year
Guardos swept the Astros in Houston continuing this yo-yo of a season. They also did something that hasn’t been done by a Cleveland pitcher in almost 20 years, they intentionally balked a runner off 2nd because they saw Houston stealing pitches. Can’t say I’ve ever seen that before.
Kenley Jansen used to do this occasionally. He hates pitching with a runner on second, so if the base runner wasn’t the tying run, he’d balk them over.Quote:

And Ceddanne keeps it rolling! New England is buzzing right now. Go Sox!
Pretty entertaining HR Derby last night. So many balls actually leaving Truist Park was nuts - I’ve never seen that before. One hit by Oneil Cruz set a record at 513’ and even shattered a window at the Chop House bar beyond RF. The flyover was pretty cool too with the F-35, F-22 and C-130 all flying a staging pattern over my neighborhood for a good bit beforehand which was great for all the neighborhood kids to come out and see.
2 F-35s and 2 F-22s did about an hour of holding pattern over the house before the flyover tonight. I think every dad and son in the neighborhood was out in the street watching them roar over. Very cool and probably got everyone fired up to watch the game/see the flyover on TV. Bummed your AL starting 3B Jose Ramirez chose to sit out the weekend to get healthy but LFG in the 2nd half Guardos!
Game wasn't half bad.
Turned on for the ninth and the finish.
Great way to have a finish vs. extras.
5 stars.
I have to say the way they recreated Hank Aaron’s 715 HR on the field was really awesome. Showcased just how high-tech that ballpark is. It’s not my favorite ballpark but it’s a really cool one for sure.
Ya I liked the finish, but some have been talking about implementing that instead of the auto runner. Uh, no. The auto runner sucks enough. No fucking way.
Great way to end an exhibition game. Not a regular season game. I’m not the biggest fan of the auto runner either, especially since it’s not good enough to be used during the playoffs, but I’m not sure what the answer is when it comes to extras. You have to speed things up once you get to the 10th somehow, so I guess for now it’s the best thing we’ve got.
Welcome back baseball. Anyone see Acuna’s double play from flat feet in right to third base? I mean it was a frozen rope but the first thing that came to mind for me is, how institutionally lazy the Yankees are when it comes to base running. It’s like their hallmark.
Voice of the Indians/Guardians for the last 35 years, and in my honest opinion (recognizing my clear bias) one of the very best to ever do it, Tom Hamilton went into the Hall this past weekend as the 2025 Ford Frick Award winner. A great article from the Athletic about this class act of a human and play by play announcer is worth 10 minutes of your time. Well deserved, Hammy!https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/650...-hall-of-fame/
Congrats but Hammy would tell yo Vin is the " very best to ever do it"
He would (which is why I said “one of”), because Hammy is unfailingly humble, even calling himself dead last among this year’s nominees. You can’t beat the humble out of an Upper Midwesterner.
Has anyone done a welfare check on BMills? Rough week for Guards fans.
I’m currently watching the trade tracker wondering how we went from contending a week ago and being deadline buyers to that all going to hell when our dominant closer got out on leave to be investigated for influencing prop bets, just like his locker neighbor Ortiz (who both of which were on a tear since May). Now I gotta worry about them trading one of the best lead off hitters in baseball and entering complete tear-down mode. I feel sorry for José, and I feel worse for fans of this cheap ass organization.
In a completely typical Cleveland move, they just got Toronto’s #5 prospect for Shane Bieber who has been out rehabbing from Tommy John and wasn’t likely to pick up his player option at the end of the year anyway.
What’s the over / under on their guilt?
Ortiz I think high probability. Clase I’m not so sure, he’s had a 1.10 era since May and wasn’t throwing spiked balls like Ortiz. In trade day news it was super neat seeing the absolute haul Clase could have brought the Guardos if not for this investigation after seeing what the Padres paid to get their new closer who isn’t anywhere near as good as Clase. FFS.
Need the ex-rookie Steve Kwan to make it through the next 20 minutes and stay in Cleveland...
Padres trades seem pretty good for increasing chances this year. Hopefully they can start playing better on the road. New lineup?: RF: Fernando Tatis Jr. 1B: Luis Arraez 3B: Manny Machado CF: Jackson Merrill SS: Xander Bogaerts DH: Ryan O'Hearn LF: Ramón Laureano 2B: Jake Cronenworth C: Freddy Fermin
