Yeah, the snow was surprisingly dry. It isn't typically like that but the entire mountain was that same snow. Throw in the sun and it was pretty epic. Not a powder day but pretty damn good.

Yesterday was cold and foggy in the morning. By noon it burned off but the wind stayed around to make it a cold day to be up there. I’m expecting the same thing today and possibly go up for couple of hours in the afternoon.

Yesterday and today were kind of partly cloudy but we found plenty of sun at Schweitzer. Snow is decent but a little firmer today. MS was better on Wednesday. That was a very good day.
Nice sunny day for skiing. I don’t usually go skiing on MLK Jr day but took my kids and had a blast. My son is learning snowboarding and my daughter is learning skiing and they are both about to graduate the bunny hill. Exciting!

Amazing day! It's awesome to hear your kids are making progress and enjoying the slopes. Graduating from the bunny hill is such a big milestone—way to go! ???
Another great day at Mt. Spokane. Sunny, snow's holding up well, off-piste is still holding nicely, groomers skied well. It was a little cold, especially chairs four and six in the shadows but, all-in-all, pretty tolerable. Considering we haven't had any new snow in awhile, it's doing really well.

Okay, I'm getting bored. Sunshine and good groomers along with some decent off-piste at the Schwizz has been fun but it's time for a change. We need some snow!! I certainly hope this weekend's storm is reality.
I hear ya GM. Silver has been fun zooming groomz on skinnies and working on heart carves but damn some soft storm skiing would be nice.

Anyone driving through Prosser to hood river/ Vancouver/pdx in the near future and willinhg to transport a pair of skis from kopi to me for some money? Thx for considering. No pressure. More like if it is on the way. Trying to save kopi the hassle of shipping.

If bored just admire the lake
Wait....What? There's a lake out there?
Can't actually see the image but I'll take your word on it.
Probably be hitting brundage this upcoming storm. Looks like a good time. Put some brundle in your grundle

Silver got some wind blown snow today. Should have some good pockets tomorrow if they open.

Scuttle is it will be closed; was going to judge the junior free ride comp up at Silver tomorrow but it was moved to next weekend in anticipation of the gondy not spinning.

Schweitzer picked up six at the lodge and eight on top by three today. More on the way tonight. It was really windy along the ridges and in the North bowl; windier than forecast and tomorrow is supposed to be worse. Great storm skiing! Backcountry, not a good idea for a few days. Lots of hoar with new wind slabs forming over the top. Be careful out there.
Silver was ok but not what I was hoping for. Maybe Mt Spokane got the most snow?

Fully pitted at brundle. Days of almost non-stop snow. Get here.
^Sick! Skied lookout Saturday and silver sunday with NW_Skier. Fourteen inches overnight at lookout with a four inch wind cap made for some leg building runs. Snow got faster and better once tracked out. Rolled ZF’s inna morning until my legs were junk then moved on the R-Dimes. Man the ZF’s are straight up monster trucks through that crap. R-Dimes are so fun in garbage as well. Silver on sunday was a god send. Super soft chalk with lots of fresh tracks in NF. Killer turns all over the mountain. R-Dimes were THE ski for that day. So easy/chargy and fun. Snow should stay perfect with some slight refresh through the week!

Full on at brundage. Low vis cake pow. Seas are rough. Ppl that can't ski are piling up dead body style. Hopefully colder tomorrow another foot plus before it tapers
Sun. Huh. Who knew. Seeing further than 50 feet for the first time in a week.

Seems like Idaho is bullseye this year.
Schweitzer reported 1”, skied more like 8” in a lot of spots, total blower pow too. Super fun day.
Just finished 5 of 6 days at Brundage. Wow, talk about timing! Over 4 feet in the last week after a three week drought. It's been as good as you can imagine. Tuesday was 11 inches new but heavy. Other than that, awesome conditions!
Same at jackass TAFKALVS, nuked all day.
That’s awesome GM!! Definitely in the flow down there. I need to make it down there some time.

^^ Do it! It's a great hill with a real laid back vibe. The snow here is usually very good and there's great tree skiing. We come down every year for a few days. Well worth the drive.
killer viz and leftovers today and all was well in the world
Finally got the chance to hook up with TAFKALVS for some laps Saturday afternoon. Good to finally meet! We skied some of Schweitzer's finest, although I am nursing a pulled hamstring. Fortunately, nothing serious that a few days off won't cure. Good to put a face with the TGR personality! We'll do it again, soon.
