Never under-estimate the power of a proper back-hand slap. Not as crushing as a closed fist, but plenty of power to send a guy flying. Totally acceptable in the martial arts.

The real reason the Oscars have lost relevance is because it's an awards show only for movies and now most of the best content being produced is TV shows and miniseries. If they were smart they would add a few categories.
