He's mixing in lots of covers it appears. He did pearl jam, temple of the dog, string cheese here in seattle to name a few.

That kettlehouse show was fucking amazing. My first time seeing him.

Same, and totally agree. One of the best shows I've seen in a looooooong time.
Who's going to BV?
Unfortunately can’t make bv and super bummed about it, got breakthrough delta’d. I saw billy and the kids at red rocks in July and it was the best show I’ve been to in recent years that I can think of, billy strings killed it there he’s so damn good.
Going to BV. Stoked!
I have a friend who has an extra with camping if you know of anyone looking for a ticket. Should be a fun weekend!
Thanks for the link. I can now state with certainty that it was around the 12:00-13:30 mark in While I'm Waiting here that my mind left my body.
The SLC show on the 22nd was fire. I've been familiar and have seen 1.5 billy shows (lady got too stoned) previously. Enjoyed both, but this one really showed what the hype is about. I'm patiently waiting for the BMFS metal side project, too.
Hope tour life isn’t too much of a crazy blur for the boys and they enjoy the ride!
”Well I was walking down the street just the other day
I had a double headed nickel and a bill to pay
There was bubblegum a’blistered on the hot cement
And I was waiting like patience on a monument
Well I rolled a little spliff and tightened up my shoes
And I went to the corner where I lit the fuse
Disgusted by the loneliness I couldn’t lose
I sat and wrote a little verse to the ‘rona blues
I said I always wanna do the things I used to do
But everybody got a job and works enough for two
We could have a little party at the end of the day
But everybody had a family and moved away
So I’m sitting with a paper soakin’ on my tongue
And feeling better than I did back when I was young
Now I’m seeing music that nobody else can see
With all the colors like a symphony surrounding me”
I agree that kettlehouse show was one of the best shows I have ever seen. That is a sick venue too. We had front row seats that were only like $5 dollars more than the lawn and looked right over the pit. Dude just fucking rips on the guitar.
The 6 sets in BV were fire. Great venue, great peeps, great weather, just 10/10 would bang again.
Couch surfing Widespread last night. They posted this on their twitters whe. Billy sat in.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...0872632fd4.jpg

Off the hook. Only the third time I've seen him/them but each time has been more energized and powerful than the last. Still don't know the names of many songs, so no setlist. Some songs I recognized, Peggy-o notably but Dust in a baggie and some others too, but a bunch I still don't know. But yeah it was good and I look forward to the next one. It's really amazing the amount of sound that comes out of that little string band.
The lights guy should be kneed in the nuts, I could barely look at the stage, I ranted about that a little elsewhere. But whatever.
Damn I like the look of that set list. Gonna cue it up on nugs now.
Edit to add- show not posted to nugs yet.

There's full set 1 + 2 videos on there too.
Two nights at the Kettlehouse Amp in Missoula, August 9 and 10. Fucking sick. Too bad it's a Tuesday and Wednesday, but oh well?!
He was on The Late Show a couple nights back...

My first exposure - killer band, instant fan! ;)
If any of you get a chance to re-watch the BMFS sets that are going on right now at the Ryman, do it. Fuego. Del Mc, Les, Bobby so far, and pure shredding in between. Absolutely nutz.
Heard he is playing in Buena Vista in September, prolly gonna check it out with some Monarch Crest bike shenanigans...
Ryman shows were epic.
