Not really - just trying to avoid this nonsense

Just saw Adam shopping in SLC. I walked by him a few times before realizing who he was. Didn’t bother him though. Bought a nice wooden penguin to remember bumping into him there.
Yeah, great show. The new stuff sounded fucking great, and I came to the realization that Danny is the glue that holds it all together. I knew he was really really good, but he blew me away.
Saw a few peeps trying with their cameras, and was hoping to see any miscreants getting hosed, but I was too busy jamming' to the music to see. Well, other than the guy a few rows down that must have overdone the edibles.
I was going to take a picture of all the cameras as it was a sight, but again I am busy, musics on.
Toolheads check this out...

The scalpers on StubHub are a lil much. I will go in, and snag a last min one outside or on stubhub for less than face. Lookit this shit below

The StubHub thing really pisses me off. Anything that is not obstructed fro the Boston show is $300+ a seat, if you want decent seats its a $1000. Greedy cunts. I've heard that prices drop buying the day of for some shows.
You have to wait until about 7:25pm. STUBHUB has a "hard" shutdown at exactly the listed time of any show(in this case 7:30). When the clock ticks to 7:30 no more buying or selling is allowed and the event is closed. The sellers know this and have a fire sale in the last few minutes so they don't get stuck with them.
Second round of tour dates released for early 2020.....Vegas anyone? Tix go on sale Wednesday ....

Wow, 2 San Diego shows, but none in LA.
Per the urging of my friend 2FUNKY, I just bought tickets to the Spokane show in March.
Woot.
Trying to do both PDX and Boise. PDX to see my dad but also because the sound in the Idaho Center is simply awful.
Does anyone need tickets to the PDX (3-11-20) show? I have two floor tickets I won't be using (upgraded to Premium through friend to Row 5 :D).
Row 37, near mix booth for best sound. PM if interested. They will go on StubHub in a couple days if no mag wants them.
Looks like they added 7empest to the setlist.

It was Mind-blowing. Saw the Portland show just before everything was cancelled/shutdown. Kinda a weird vibe at the concert and I didn't feel great about being around that many people.
That being said, one of the best shows I have ever seen. Can't believe they played 7empest live. Pneuma was my favorite.

From my perspective: Through his death, Peart may have passed the torch to Danny Carey.
Exhibit A

No competition or anything, they just give me similar feelings watching & listening to them play.
Check out these vids from Rick Beato. I love this shit so much. His music knowledge is so vast and I've learned a lot about music theory from his videos. I'm going to make a new thread to post some of his other material but these ones are great because TOOL:
His forty six and 2 cover is worth a watch too.

PHUCK YEAH!!
I was just listening to this album on my new home theater set up. While it's not some high end set up it is much than what I had before especially my subwoofers. I found myself cranking up the sound and while drinking scotch and bourbon.

Stumbled across this tonight. Haven’t checked it yet, but passing along in the meantime.
BAD. ASS.
In case you haven't heard, 2022 tour is scheduled. Tickets on sale Friday 10/1.
And Fear Inoculum is a goddamn masterpiece. Really want to see it live.
