I hope you let her know that the rope was behind her leg
I suspect it just looks like it's behind her leg because of the angle of the pic.
Got thrashed at rifle yesterday. Only got a few shots of our first climb. I wish I belayed less and took more photos.

led a shitload of climbs in the gunks this week, my head game is coming back around! Even when swarmed by killer beez on attack (ok, honey bees).
Also of note: decided to walk off a bunch of p1's rather than rap for old times sake. Literally!

Rapping off a two pitcher at the Delaware Water Gap.
that building climb looks airy-feeling... bet that's good for the lead head
Maple is enjoyable with this cooler weather, ducked a few storms but had mostly clear skies. Foot summit selfie.

I'm racking up to finish Bonnie's Roof after doing everything to the crux and this guy comes up to me and asks to climb through. What? "I'm just going to free solo the pitch if that's alright."
ummm, go ahead.

Dang.
Bonnie's is the real deal. Proud lead, much less a solo.
I need to go back to the Gunks now that I don't suck at climbing. I was just barely tickling 5.8s when I left, I'd love to go back now and jump on some of the classic 9s and low 10s.
One of my favorite things about climbing Cathedral Peak in Tuolumne is the number of soloists who cruise right by you.

That looks cool, where at?
Mt. Olympus. The slab on the right, West Slabs, above the snow. Popular climb here, lot of people just run up it, being 1,000 or so of 5.5.

Oh, cool. I think I read about that in the Brendan Leonard book.
Fun day traversing Beehive Peak north of Big Sky, MT. Easy 5th class ridge climb on pretty good rock.

Sewn up 'cause I'm a giant weenie
Yeah great pitch! It probably took more energy to place all that gear than to climb through.

No doubt about that V.R.P. When were you guys up there?
Mid August-iffy forecast and we were the only ones on that side of the wall on a Sunday. Weeks prior I witnessed a 9 team clusterf--- in the north chimney on a Thursday.
Wanting to climb this weekend. Anyone in the bay to Tahoe area?
