NO, the question asked a number of different ways was why do I not see women smoking and the answer was aways "only prostitutes smoke "

I duno if its still the same but for a couple it was cost effective to just hire a car/ driver for the whole day

Gotcha. Personally hate it, and I used to love smoking. Now it immediately sticks to the inside of my mouth the moment I notice it.

No one complained back in the day because it was normalized. Hell my stepdad smoked in the house and in all vehicles, no windows down. We just thought it was normal. I can only imagine how bad I stunk during school.
