As neither a doctor nor a particularly bright person, is this an area where pyslocybin is being tested? I know researchers are finding it has regenerative/reconnective properties, hence the question.

This is something a friend of has invested in but clinical trials are a long process.
I've been tempted to try mijo dosing but the one time I gave CBD I made the mistake of giving the one that had 5% THC. She had a rough time coping with the buzz.
When pyslocybin is produced to eliminate the "magic carpet ride" affect I will try it on her. Thanks.

SiL is at the Ridge in SLC now, memory/hospice care.
She's gone from 140 to 80lbs over the last 3 mos, her body is shutting down. The loudest girl in the room is pretty much non-verbal now. Yet she could still remember my name and said I love you when asked if she knew who I was.

She was given 6-10yrs 2yrs ago and I can't see her making it to even yr3. Kept expecting the progression to level out but it never did. Frontal temporal dementia is evil.

It was her cognitive doctor who works with Baycreat hospital which is a leader in experimental procedures that suggested it. Given I'll try anything , I jumped at the opportunity. Turns out this man that was catatonic for 20 years started to talk when they tried the low dose CT radiation. Sadly he passed away but left some $50 million dollars to continue the study.

My heart goes out to your SIL and yes it is evil.

I'm now dedicating how many years I have left on this planet to help others dealing with dementia. It's given me a new purpose and it's humbled me like nothingness ever has.

I found the summary of the 2015 study. Pretty awesome! Hopefully it turns out to be another treatment option in a disease with very few options.

My S-I-L passed away last night, no more than 2.5yrs since there was a hint that something was amiss. Truly horrible to the end and I wouldn't wish that fate on my worst enemies.
