I'm not gonna lie, but those Jack in the Crack fried tacos are the shit. E. Coli or full blown mystery beef AIDS be damned.
I'm glad there's not one within a few hundred miles of me.

All is quiet on the southern front.
Who's up next for the cheapskate expired food challenge?
Meh, I've left the crockpot out overnight before. No biggie.
There's a single Busch Light can in the back of the beer fridge. So old the label might be one of the nascar tracks. No clue how it got there but I'm guessing it made its way from someone's cooler to my garage fridge after a camping trip.
I don't know why I hang on to it, buried behind bottles of more palatable suds; maybe it's a security blanket in case I run out.
If I get bold this weekend. And sufficiently drunk. I'll put it down.
i had day old, left over, and left out mussels and curry with garlic bread for lunch - hmmmmm good
Why do you leave the stuff out? Doesn't begin to compute for me.
we eat at 9:00 PM, the fridge is full, i don't feel like fucking around or and organizing the fridge. i'm single, and have kids half the time. I worked all fucking day, made a good home cooked meal, and then back in the kitchen to clean up - fuck no - the cleanup can wait - it's time to sit down and watch pbs with a glass of red
i wake up, clean the kitchen, get the the boys together, drive em to school, etc. I know what I am having for lunch, fuck it, just leave it out
it's cooked man, it's not like leaving raw chicken out
the maid moved out
Didn't have time to grab lunch, so I chose to eat this questionable instant soup thingy...

I'm unfamiliar with the food group that beef cream fits in.
Also, it looks like it expired last August. ;)
To be continued...
Jägermeister.
Seriously, nothing helps with bloating better.
Added bonus, you do too many and you can get drunk off the stuff.
Anyone had surstromming? I've never heard of the stuff but my bro sent me this video, pretty damn funny. That stuff looks nasty!

Fresh or fresh frozen salmon or bottom fish? Cooked medium rare I would trust it resting on the counter over the night over turf protein. Shellfish if cooked well done, but then that's survival rations.
That said, big fan of the pot on the stove with a meal a few days old. Leftovers almost always taste better.
I just realized that the bottle of Choloula hot sauce in the office kitchen, that I ingest almost daily, expired in 2015.
What the fuck people!?! Who doesn't finish hot sauce in a year or less?
I've got inquiries out to the company that manages the catering but in the meantime this might explain why I have so much time to post here from the can most afternoons.
No big deal. That shit never expires.
That stuff never goes bad. Expiration date is more "guideline" than a rule. It's there just to encourage sales.
Really? I mean I get it, these are the giant Costco sized bottles of the stuff but I know at home a bottle of just about anything rarely lasts a year, and is usually guaranteed to be empty when I go to use it sending me into some kind of frantic trip to the store as my meal sits on the counter tempting the dog.
I may be alone in this though. I've always been a condiment enthusiast.
Fucking crafty Mexicans, giving me a scare like that.
I found the only bottle of hot sauce in my father in law's fridge last night that was much needed for some flank steak fajita leftovers, it expired in 2011. It had separated so I shook it up and had at it. Other than having extreme gas all evening/morning I've had no other ill effects, but that could just have been the combo of fajitas and later consumed draft beer. Pretty sure hot sauce can last forever.
