I had to zoom in. Thought maybe you were showing that dog shit was now on dirt instead of snow…

Its hard to think of The Turn when we have 100 degree temperatures at hand. Maybe next week.
It's been feeling a little fall-like at times here for the past couple of weeks. The light has definitely changed. Kinda not psyched for the dark times, I need to go to South America or Australia for a couple months.
In my University town still in the clutches of Summer, the most obvious signs of the Turn involve the looming return to class: the sudden appearance of mattresses on top of cars being held on with the hands of passengers, and the massive amount of "free" junk furniture popping up overnight on the sidewalks.
And we are nowhere close to the turn for the next 30 days.

I had hopes for a minute up here in the PNW, but models are gonna model. Might get a reprieve, but still waiting for the storm that beaks the back of summer.
This thread shall go back to sleep for now…
I pull my last post. Town are recording record temps in Sept.
Most Sept longs of my adulthood I had a tradition of mtn goat scoping. Most years wake up to a layer of snow on the tarp at least one night out…
Sept long alpine snowstorm haven’t happened locally in 3yrs, only 3X in the last decade.
