The ones intight with the dealer get the 458 new, flip it in 6-12 months for something newer, so the 2nd tier get the used 458 so they can actually get a Ferrari in under 3 years and take the big bath on depreciation to own a Ferrari, then some other schmuck buys it even later and nobody drives it to make sure it doesn't depreciate too badly and you make sure to spec it red w/shields and a tan or black interior to sell it quickly. "quality miles" are to a cars and coffee or the mall because you want to make sure it doesn't get dinged. It's exactly the same as a Camry, just more anxiety and more coffee clatch cache.
