How many people wear billabong or vans stuff who have never been on surf or skateboard? On the other hand, how many people wear Spyder? Surfing has half naked people in the sun, skating supports a whole youth subculture and, as such, more easy to convince a large production house to pony up the cash to produce, market and distribute a major production. I wish/hope I am wrong, I just don't see that many people outside skiers watching a large scale ski movie. Now, if they could just get a few half naked scenes with Sarah Burke, I may change my opinion...
