Well, I still don't have that Yamaha WR250 that I've been wanting to get. But here's some moto stoke anyways!
Here's a trailer for a movie that I've just finished editing called "Semper Ride," it's a movie aimed at the Marines. They've been coming home from their tours and getting hurt/killed on bikes and this is a movie to educate them.
If the style looks familiar, it's probably because the director of photography was Curt Morgan (director for "that's it, that's all") and director/producer Dirk Collins (former TGR producer/director)

I got a chance to ride the "Zero bike" at the premiere yesterday at Miramar. This thing is so sick! It makes almost no noise at all. It's really trippy when you first see it driving past you, but you don't hear it.

I have read most of his books and while I never took part of his training courses can say that his influence has probably extended my lifespan.
Can't wait to get the KTM out, still too much snow on the ground for most of our riding at this time.
ZERO bike looks pretty cool, I almost can't comprehend the thought of having that much power and torque without the noise. For most of the riding we do here a two hour range would mean pushing it home, wonder how long before the technology develops.
KTM is testing electric bikes and may have one out in a couple years. From what i remember it looked a lot more durable than a zero, but still much lighter than a regular bike. Seems like the technology still needs a lot of development but looks promising.
When I was in Vegas for the Super Cross Final, we went to the Mini Moto SX on Friday night and they had an exhibition race for several of the new electric bikes. It was definitely cool to watch them, all you could really hear was the sound of the suspension, and the skid plates when jumps where cased. They have a long LONG was to go before they will be a true option. Their wheels also need to be beefed way up, one guy completely tacoed his, it looks like right not they are a cross between a DH rim and dirt bike rim. Good to see that some people are actually thinking ahead, and more then anything else, making QUITE bikes, loud dirt bikes get trails closed, end of story.

Spent the day on a 7,500 acre ranch riding Elk trails with the 230f and a chainsaw in the back pack. Three guys (the land owner), three bikes, trail cutting machine.
Thank you to Elk for helping us cut such fine single track.

My new-to-me 2006 Suzuki V-strom DL650, picked up 2 weeks ago. Conundrum was a huge help in checking it out ahead of time and letting me crash at his place when I drove up to get it. It came with a large Wolfman tank bag, which is in the shed. Don't need it for commuting to work, but it'll be nice for touring. The tank bag has electrical adapters to plug it into a powerlet adapter (added to the fairing), then internal adapters that allow for a 2-prong SAE plug, or a standard 12V automotive outlet.Quote:

Heres some girl MX stoke. With all the rain this weekend we where wondering if we would even be able to get any time on the bikes. But after a bunch of phone calls, and some interweb sleuthing we discovered that IMI Motor Sports Park in Erie Colorado had delt with all the rain much better than the surrounding area tracks, and since we have another long drive next weekend to round 4 or the RMEC we wanted to stay close and get in some moto training. All the pics are of my Wife, since I decided to crack my pipe in half, and was stuck taking pics after about an hour of riding.

What does everybody carry for equipment for trail riding? I just don't know what are the handiest tools i should bring. obviously a screw driver, pliers, crescent wrench.
