Over 45000 recipients of the MAID program since 2016. A handful of examples suggesting needs for further training of individuals involved in the protocol. I am well acquainted with the medical community in this area. I am thus far very happy with where we have come with this program. I remain unconvinced that your argument of perverse incentives is a significant risk to MAID, or the individuals it serves, in my country.

The new train project is a great use of money. We could really use some new ports on the east coast as the largest tankers are using Baltimore now. Let’s spend many on that. Or anything that makes the country more competitive and improves people’s lives.
But Energy East seems like throwing good money after bad.

yeah. and just for the pipes they were saying 15.7b in 2017 (some reports list that in usd!). how is this project going to give a return to taxpayers?
unlike, say, a functional port for large cargo or the high speed rail that will connect 60% of the population.
there’s a reason this thing got killed.

there has to be some other things to do with that money and the govt shouldn’t resist spending - but it should look for good returns.
if you price in the pipe with the oil how can this oil sands product be competitive? if the math works please show me.

Aluminum ore is worthless without nearby smelter with high electrical supply. Most power in Ukraine is nuclear, which is highly inflexible to changes in demand. Must be another Trump genius plan in the works. Good luck with that.
