I appreciated those occasions when MG made the effort to craft articulate, thoughtful posts. Her biggest issue, as I could tell, was that she was reactionary and was not nuanced enough to really understand context. I sense, also, that she had a bit of an inferiority complex here, and that led her to try too hard to impress, or dig too far into whatever post she was responding to. I think that that's what happened in the linked thread.

I am not a fan of banning anyone from this place.

Regarding mtngirl, I think this series, earlier in this thread, is what got her. Judging from Splat's comment at the end of this sequence, I am not surprised she's been banned. This thread got run off the rails by her, as did many other threads, and I think the mods decided that enough is enough. I'm not sorry to see her gone and would much rather see FA get back on now that she's gone.

I'm never a fan of banning anyone...but I'm also glad that I could be an instigator in the conversation that got her banned (if it was that). So conflicted! :D
