My boss smuggled a couple cats back from Mx. He has four kids and they all started crying at the border check. Waved through.
Waiting for Sal to show up. Getting dark.

MTT - very happy to hear that Mr. Kitty is feeling better.
Give him all the loving he'll stand for.
NP the different perspectives made me think.
He could go south again in days. I have to giving him medicine, shooting water in his mouth to keep him hydrated.
But right now he is better and not suffering.
I don't think I will take him to a VET again, that's torture for him.
I would call a VET that comes to the house for the end.
My little Maine coon mix who's 1 yr old has been in and out of the vet at least once a week for the past 4 weeks. Battling a fever, he lost about 5ish pounds, had a mouth infection and now his mouth is better his leg is all swollen. Xrays showed no break or sprains. Frustrating that he is falling apart like this when his bro is a strong 17lb dog like amazing fur ball.
Sorry for the random vent, just got back from the vet and feeling down.

How about some pictures of the Maine Coon brothers? Good luck.

I heard a commotion the other night. I thought it was her getting grabbed by someone. Nope
She left good luck greeting.
Sal loves the shed. He got locked in there for almost 24 hours (thought he might have been claimed). Now he won’t leave. It’s great because I can install a chip controlled door and he can stay independent.

I think that’s the heart there on the right...
Rescued another from the humane society so the first one wouldn't be lonely.
Is vet insurance worth it?
Sorry about your loss, summit.
I'm not sure if insurance is worth it for cats. IME, it is challengjng to tell when any of my previous cats were having problems. Our last cat broke a hip when she got hit by a car. We got her fixed. It cost a lot for us and was WAY beyond the deductible for the pet insurance we got for our dog, but probably not beyond the premium we would have paid over her 14 year life. She also got tangled up with several cats and a fox during her life which all required vet trips and light outpatient surgery, but none of those instances would have met deductible.
