how wrecked was it? i used to have a fzr 1000, but after bouncing it down the side of a mountain in a 80 mph highside i didnt think there was much point in trying to fix it.
Nothin like a little flat black and stove paint to spruce up the bike. Looks tight!

It was totaled by an insurance company and has a salvaged title. Replaced a TON of shit on it...all plastics, mirrors, windshield, engine covers, signals, fairings, r6 front brake system, battery, tires, instrument cluster, left and right switches..and much more.You get the point. ;)Quote:

A little late in the year, but here's my current ride - 02 RC51.
sadly up for sale, but might as well share the stoke while it's still hanging around. As much as the new I4 liter bikes have eclipsed it in terms of raw HP, the massive torque everywhere in the powerband has made me a v-twin believer for life. This thing fucking rocks.
Bought this Aprilia Futura from a guy in CA. last month and shipped it here.
I have been too busy to register it till this week. Rode 250 miles yesterday
and can't wait to get out again. Not as edgy as My RSV but way more comfy long distance. It is no slouch on the AP Gap either
