Yes, a few times, but not enough for me to figure out how to do something about it yet.

Can anyone confirm that I can drill the heels and front two screws of the toe pieces of the C-Raider 12s with an M05 jig. I think it's just two holes which have moved so I can reference them from the paper jig once i've located the front holes.
That’s exactly it. I have not been doing that and feel like an idiot for not realizing that. Thanks man

Thought I'd post up here before heading back into the shop. Had some Haute Routes/Helio 200s mounted to some new pow skis. I've noticed that when I'm in walk mode, the toe rotates ~3-4mm which did not occur with this binding on the previous ski (as well as my other setup with the same exact binding). In addition, my heel pieces were rotating while touring with the risers up (maybe due to the twisting of the toe piece?
Is there anything mechanical on the toe piece that would cause this or do you think the toe piece is just not flush with the ski allowing some play? Haven't seen this issue before with other binders.

Kastle appears to be selling branded “narrow” freeride spacers, like the ones that come with the fr14 as opposed to the slightly wider al09.

Nearly.
If you buy the AL09 now it seems to come with those tabs on the base the same as the AL13 making it wider.
The older FR14 ones didn’t have that. And are like these linked ones.
New FR14 seems to have the tabbed/wider ones.
Only significant if you are putting them on sub 100 skis.
Sorry if this has been asked and answered before, but does current gen FR14 toes have stiffer springs than R12s? Or is the clamping force the same across those bindings (aka one evo models have adjustable release values?) Nm the the three position adjustability thingy.
I have some FR14 toes that are surplus to requirements (the heels aree to be used with Vario.2 toes), and thought about mounting the FR14 toes instead of the MTN toes I will need to remount on two other pairs. Those pairs will get ATKs at some point, so I figured going half way there would be a good start :)
Doh! wished i caught this before i took the plunge. I was keying in on a plum pika from tp, then i found a kuluar 12 from Alpinstore that ended up 50+cad cheaper with the code "newsletter" you get when you sign up for their newsletter. I was thinking id add a crampon later. Have you added a toe riser?

No toe riser.
I’ve actually had quite a few emails with Italy and US customer service.
I’m given to understand if you trust they got it right, put it in place and crank the screws it will pop in correctly.
So my comment is probably invalid. It’s still not as nice of a part as the crampon biker on the monolink toe.
Thanks Brit. Good news on both topics. Ill try it w/o the riser first. Im thinking i mighf need to add some. Heel and track look similar to my raiders and the toe looks low. I ended up putting some risers on my raiders and i prefer them. Id rather just be lower at the toe and heel though so we'll see how they feel

Thanks again. I didnt find them to ski bad without. I guess im just used go the flatter delta after having rusers on a few dfits, ions and vipecs.
Im trying to mount a touch forward on the ski i have the kuluars for and like Climber Joes suggestion that the riser helps that a bit. I feel i could move 1 cm forward on my bg tours and might do that after. Im still experimenting. The mount on both skis would still be relatively directional. Just a little more swivel as long as the tips dont dive i figure. Baby steps

Is the kuluar compatible with the al09 or are you using the universal spacer?

I have no idea Any ideas on which one?

al09 works with regular newer raider series FR14, R12 etc. al13 works with evo series.
al05 and al06 are universal freeride spacers with the al05 having a lower minimum height by 2-3 mm.
Cool, cheers. al06 ftw

Apologies, as I'm sure this has been asked, but coudnt find anything with a bit of scrolling... On FR14s, ok to run without the al09 spacer, leaving that slight gap in front of the front screws? Or is there some little piece (that I lost) that should slot under? I've got inserts, so it's easy to run w/ or w/o the spacer.
Thx
^^^ Thx, kinda remember that. But no idea where I put it
^^^ got it, will dig some more in the parts drawer
Sure. I think the risk is really that snow (or worse, water) could occupy that space. Over time, melt/freeze cycles could exert some force on the heel piece and cause issues.
Imagine that is low probability and likely minimized if you dry your skis out after a session/tour. Over years could be an issue.
Why are toe pieces coming into that? Do you mean the front of the heel, rather than toe?
I've had many does on numerous models of ATK bindings (Trofeo, C-Raider, R10... or was it RT10, and I think one other). Have had no issues with crampon mounts on any of them. I wouldn't worry about it.
I've also shimmed all the models that are not flat (after a couple season of skiing them all as-is), and I have a heel adjustment plate under the Trofeos — such that all are about +6 delta.
My point is that crampons have not been an issue even with the toe shims.
Thanks. Thats great to hear
