Working on it. I mounted some yesterday but had to tweak forward on the heel to avoid another set of heel hole conflicts.

Anyone have a template for Marker Kingpin M-Werks 12? Will any Kingpin template work? Not finding much specific to the M-Werks online.
I also always used Knut's template and need to mount Strive 14 GW. How much did you find the BSL off? I just did a quick measurement and Knut's Warden 11 appears to match SlideWright's Strive 12/14. The Salomon technical manuals suggest the Warden 11 MNC should match the Strive 12/14 GW, so I would assume if one template is off they both are.
AlpiNord, I'm a little confused by the SlideWright comparison PDF. Toe pieces #8 and 9 (counting down from top) are both labelled "Warden 11 & 13" except #8 has a width of 30mm and #9 40mm. Should #8 be labelled "Warden 11" and #9 "Warden 13" or are they both supposed to be 40mm wide?
I'll circle back to this later.
'Way off' is not a number please quantify relative to toe of boot to rear toe holes and heel of boot relative to forward holes of heel pieces at mid adjustment range.
Good catch on the incorrect 30mm dimension it is drawn and 40mm and I revised it. Please repeat this in the Salomon hole layout thread to keep it more together. Check out the Minimum & Maximum Boot Sole Lengths thread. I thought this was vetted for the Wardens and the binding layout tool we've sold has had zero complaints.

Sometimes you'll need to make adjustments because none of this is perfect. Perform a test mount, measure adjustments and provide what they are if you find any to help others.
Also, check out DIY Binding Templates for more info to make your own or simply figure out hole layouts relative to BSCs.
I edited my post for clarity; I did not have a "way off" BSL, I wanted more info on his problem. I was just trying to start with a solid template to save some time and 2x4s. I didn't buy new bindings for a couple years and selecting the right template got a lot more complicated! Might be time to buy your tools.
Thanks for the links. I bookmarked this thread ages ago and didn't think to look elsewhere.
I confirmed the Knut and SlideWright templates are accurate with the caveat that it defaults to the smallest end of the adjustment range. I would recommend a test mount before considering if you want adjustments (for instance, this would be perfect for a growing kid likely to get new boots). It will work as is.
Good to know. How far to the middle of the adjustment range and it’s total?
(The ‘way off’ comment was in response to the post you quoted.)

Hey there, sorry if this has been posted but I just recieved my Salomon S/lab Shift 2 bindings and with the orginial shift template it looks like the toe piece bolt spacing has been updated, if I slide the toe piece all the way back on the front mounting tap I about 8-10mm off the four mounting screws and the front two are about 1.5mm too narrow.as well as the bsl is about 10 mm behind center. I also noticed that the rear mounting plate puts me toward the front end of the adjustment range. I just wanted to see if anyone has had any first hand expierence with the updated bindings before I just lay it out freehand.
Thanks again for this resource!
Hi all,
Looking for a template for the Marker Alpinist FREE - the latest pin binding from Marker, new for the 24/25 season (wider mounted version of the Alpinist for bigger skis).
Going to have to DIY as none of my local shops have the jig and I've got a trip booked in two weeks.
Hoping someone can help!
Thanks!
So I did some homework when I first got a shift2. The shop that mounted my first one said the jig is the same. When I took that binding off, I confirmed that with the toe piece on the center lug, you can slide the toe piece back 3mm (my best estimation) past the holes for the other 4 screws. Other than that, everything else on my mount with knuts template on the next ski worked perfect. I left the holes in the exact spot as the template, thinking that 1 if a shop does it like this there is probably something I don't know going on in there and that 2 that something might be some play left in the system when using the pins and locking lever perhaps?Also did you double check the printing scale? sounds like it printed too small.
Next time Im messing with one Ill see if i can put a number to it. From what i can remember the toe piece and midsole were perfect, but as was stated, the heel piece was off as far as adjustment goes. I have a 27.5 and could probably get a 29.5 in with how much adjustment was there, but not a 26.5, so yes, it wasnt centered.
Here is what I wound up using as to not mess around until i sorted it out.

So I placed knuts template lined up for a 315 bsl over a template ive used and my 315 landed right in the middle of the heel adjustment. The Knut heel screws were 12mm further from the center. The toe lined up the same on both. I tried to upload a pic of the 2 templates on top of each other and failed apparently. Knut over verified template https://ibb.co/7JjPgBcN. Hi!
I am looking a template for marker alpinist Demo binding. If anyone can help!
Current gen Marker Royal Sole ID toe question ... I don't think anything has changed with the Marker Royal pattern in a while, correct?
I'm hoping to confirm that current-gen Sole ID toes should drop right into holes from a Marker Lord SP 13 ... (this toe is not really GW compatible because the angle of the AFD track wasn't set up correctly for GW soles in the alpine toe position)
Edit: Its not letting me quote the right post...That's supposed to be in responsed to the Dynafit Ridge and Seven Summits+ Templates
Based on some measurements someone took for me for a template:
-pin line is 17mm in front of rear set of toe holes
-heel tower is 7mm back from forward heel holes (to plastic, no heel gap subtracted)
-->ridge has a 2mm heel gap
-->Seven Summits+ has a dynafit standard 5.5mm gap
I am guessing they split the difference on the official jig and say 1.75mm off of nominal center of adjustment is not a big deal
Not 100% verified with an actual mount yet.
