Since reading the thread seems difficult for some, the lanyard thing is a joke. I don't think anyone gives a shit. it should hold within about .625mm in my experience, just use a hardwood dowel and epoxy it in real nice on the old hole and you're good to go
I use quiver killers in my pass hole. That way I can switch out my lanyards to match the mountain I'm on, and the lifties know I'm a local.
