Bitcoin....who's gotten into it?

The news in bitcoin is amazingly dichotomous. Half the articles are saying could be a collapse/bearish/value could go to 0 and the other half saying could go to $30k/$100k/demand is high/look at this 14 y/o millionaire etc

This is where the crypto evangelists lose me. I was at a conference this last week talking with a colleague who’s all in on this crypto thing. He kept jumping between its investment value and societal value. Eventually I realized that he was so fervent that he forgot their was a line at all. If I want to make money, I have one lens. If I want to save the world, I have another. Anyone who presumed you can put both those lenses in one pair of glasses isn’t seeing straight. I’d like to be proven wrong though.

I meant that more like I'm just annoyed that a bunch on people such as kinnikinnick (look above...dude doesn't even have an original thought...just snipes us with some generic link and runs) have nothing better to do but come in this thread and post negativity.
