As long as she stays on the ruby slippers she will be unbeatable.
It would be funny if every time she wins people would throw rolls out on to the snow.
Like a hat trick in hockey only you can eat them.

Damn!
Good margin of time too!
She is amazing as is this thread!!!
So smooth and relaxed that it doesn’t even look like she is pushing hard. 8 tenths..... amazing.
She's got the tuck down.
I hadn't realized she is already only one slalom win away from tying Marlies Schild for the career record of 35.
Additionally, she is over half way to catching Vonn for total number of wins across all disciplines: 46-84.
Yep, and to put that in perspective: by the time Vonn had started as many WC races as Shiffrin has currently (138 - IIRC from the broadcast - Vonn was 22 at the time), Vonn only had 6 wins (not that that is by any means shabby, but...). Six!
Meanwhile, Vonn is four wins from being the winningest WC ski racer in history (men or women - only one guy is ahead of her now).
So if Vonn can bag four more, she'll be the GOAT. And if Shiffrin stays on track and healthy, she'll likely, utterly eclipse Vonn. These two are incredible!
Not to cunt up Mikaela's thread with this crap, but.....

I wish that she would stop talking about breaking records, and concentrate on the limelight.
Another one....back to back Super G wins.....ridiculous
Spoiler alert.
Shiff is ridiculous. Fkna!
Also shout out to Ainsley Proffit (St. Louis, MO; Sugar Bowl Ski Team & Academy; 3/21/2001) who made the development team this year. She skied for a couple years in our little regional league when she lived in Missouri and took some private clinics with our teams head coach at Chestnut before moving the hell out of here.
As everyone expected, it was only going to be a matter of time before she started dominating across all disiplines. Hopefully she takes Tina maze's advice and doesn't burn herself out trying to win every race in a season.

Between Lindsay, Hirscher, and Shiffrin, we're seeing some of the best ever right now.
Another one....parallel slalom. She’s on fire!
With three gates to go, I was thinking there was no way she was going to win that. And even when they got to the line I was thinking she didn't but she somehow got the first few inches of her ski across the line first. I looked for but couldn't find a still shot of the view along the finish line.
Crazy how she knew she could make it all up in one gate or turn.

Obviously Vlhova is not as fast because her skis are not as red.
