Yep, it was fancy when I visited their fam’s places in high school and years after. Have to assume they kept up with the times.

As Mainers do of course.

My Bates BiL has many Maine opinions that I tend to accept as gospel though over those of family in Bar Harbor.

We spent a few days in Boothbay after darling daughter's graduation last month, stayed at a place on the water and enjoyed it very much. Ate way too much overpriced seafood and didn't feel bad about it at all.
