On Sunday we picked this girl up from the shelter, as she needed a foster home(pits don’t do well in the shelter) and we were told she had previously lived with cats.

Yesterday afternoon we got a call that she had a meet with an adopter on the weekend.
It’s been less than two months since we lost our Miss Lou and we’re both still hurting from that. My wife had a few tearful conversations with her coworkers, and they all told her that there are lots of great dogs out there, and many that are good with cats and they all need foster and forever homes.
Sitting at the off-leash park yesterday afternoon talking about the future of this foster dog, I looked at my wife and said “There are lots of dogs out there, and they all need homes. But there’s only one Letti and I don’t want to give her up.”
This is our new girl Letti Spaghetti.
