Heh. This one is gonna be mostly a work car but because I'll spend 40 or more hours a week in it has to keep me entertained. I put so many miles on and even basic shit is too expensiveb so a manufacturer 10/100 warranty is critical. I still have the POS for all the quirkiness I can swallow.
A Mazda diesel would be good. Otherwise get an Alltrack and save a few pennies here and there for potential repairs. We get ~35mpg hwy and its fun to drive; very very solid with Blizzaks.
But I do also completely vote for the Citreon, Jag or high-mileage Range
There's not much out there with a bumper to bumper 10/100 warranty. Most 10/100 warranties are just for power train. The rest of the vehicle is up to you.Quote:

Kia/Hyundai has potential but the insurance on our Kona is outrageous because of the easy-to-steal thing. Even though it has the updates it's still double what our R Design Volvo is and when I get the Benz it'll be less than the Kona. Fukn Kia Boyz bullshit.
M27, I think those would be great but not at 1500 miles a week. Too slow, some parts are getting tough, and they're too slow for a lot of the modern traffic shit I have to deal with. I know you love em but I need something newer, quicker and that'll give me a fighting chance to walk away from the crash that some inattentive genius in a F150 can dish out.

If I were automotive-czar for a day I'd bring back a modern Previa, among other things of course, but that would make the list for sure.
I prefer the van that was the Previa precursor. Which I believe had a 4WD option. I like those mid 80s stylings. Toyota Tercel 4WD SR5 wagon would of course be on the list.Quote:
