Based on the polls before Trudeau resigned I'd guess that was over 70% who did not support the Liberals and would have supported Conservatives, NDP, Greens or otherwise.
There's no poll on this but many in the business community now are of the view that the US and China are now of equal hold- your-nose from the view of being business partners. With a slight edge to China in that China makes longer term plans.

The only theory I’ve seen that holds even twenty ml of water is this. That is Drump would want Canada and Greenland in the name of national security in preparation for a post NATO world where it either ceases to exist or does so without the US as a member.
