It was only a matter of time before they clashed.
More Lewis' fault than Max.
He knew that was going to be his last chance to get past.
Huge accident. Could have been so much worse.

It'll take a chunk out of Red Bulls racing budget.
^Energy drinks must be a good biz. That stuff tastes like shit to me, so I'm not a fan. But they must be selling a lot of it to someone.
Okay, boomer.
Pretty sure they are well diversified:

They sold 7.9 billion cans in 2020.
Coke sells the equivalent of 650 billion cans a year.
I have no idea what this means other than it may be useful info for soft drink trivia night.
This really shows how much Coke is fucking slacking vis a vis motorsports. Just what the fuck are they waiting for?
Oh they’re in it.

2019 Porsche Factory Team #911 and #912 rocked this livery in IMSA
The max / lewis incident is embarrassing for F1
Indycar dudes slap the wall at much faster speeds with less runoff . 180mph hit is pretty lame . Max and Redbull’s reaction are italian soccer league level theatrics .
It’s a glaring indictment on how poor the racing has been in F1 to where a pass for the lead that ends up in a crash is a monumental event
Yeah, they definitely should. I always watch qualifying, but I bet more people would watch this form of it (remember a few years ago they had that terrible idea to do some sort of knockout format that resulted in no cars on track all but the very end of each session?).
It just looked like Max was fully expecting Lewis to give way when Lewis was alongside and Max knew he was there. I was pretty surprised Lewis got the 10 second penalty (I know Red Bull is lobbying for more). Having looked at all the replays a few times it just looked to me like Lewis couldn't have done anything except hit the brakes, which seems unreasonable to expect (from any F1 or other race car driver).
To get away from the Fencing competition I stumbled into F1, laughable as usual.
Glad that the MotoGP summer break is over and the bikes will be back on track Friday morning.
Yes it was!
It was nice to Lewis work for a position. He's so spoiled to have everyone move out of his way, Alonso made him git a little whiney
add-then I found this;
Alonso on his defensive work: 'Hamilton always complains'

Bummed about Vettel being disqualified.
But that fuel sample rule is a hard line.
Both he and Alonso had fantastic drives. Ocon was superb. Great results for Williams.
Bottas should be ashamed of himself for that first corner accident. I hope it's the final nail in his Mercedes career and that they put Russell in the car.
What!!? Didn't hear about Vettel's DQ
Stewards were unable to get the mandatory 1 liter of fuel for testing after the race.
If you hate it, why check it out?
Keep telling yourself that. LOL First corner assholes take out 20% of the field and fuck up Verstappens car resulting in a red flag. Couple others out in 2 laps. Are you impressed that one of the 4 fastest cars made it to the podium? No, It was rubbing your jimmy while Fernando balked Hamilton denying him the thought to be inevitable win. Look at the fucking disparity in the cars! Fucking ridiculous how far apart they are. So many teams should just exit and put their effort into something more competitive.
There was a time I enjoyed it but ever since the hybrid era it has been.......
Full fucking yawn.

I forgot the part where Vettal got disqualified because he was short on a quart of fuel. Double LOL
7 red flagged races in the last 12 months, ooof. It sounds like there was a race after the restart, too bad I tuned out too.
Agree with you on many of your points but still, an enjoyable race. Max getting gooned by Mercedes is getting old. Just racing incidents? Whatev, nice to see someone other than Hamilton get the trophy. He did drive like the wind again though.
Can't recall a recent incident with a driver retiring due to running out of fuel. Seb had less than a litre left at the end of the race? Couldn't have done another lap if that was true.
Less disparity than pretty much anytime in F1 history at the moment.

You might also want to check the historical difference in qualifying times compared to now for any period you like.
I thought Rosberg did a great job in the booth
Its a very low bar m8. Its great there has been a bit more parity this year with some shock winners... kind of like last year with Gasly. However, F1 is a far cry from the 2000s and Mid 90s. The cars are uninspiring and too easy to drive. The F1 ethos is a complex engineering exercise juxtaposed with a Bravo Reality Show...its not a pure sport compared to Indycar, WEC, IMSA, Super Formula etc etc
you're just biased towards Indy, that's ok. all they have going for them is the Indy 500. cars are ugly, plus the innovations seemed to have stalled. my dislike for Chevrolet doesn't help the appeal
there's better competition in karting than either F1 or Indy, to be honest
your wheel to wheel racing comment makes no sense
but I don't expect any logic from someone who uses a shitstain of a human for his avatar
Apologies if it's been discussed as I'm not in here that often, but this looks very interesting to me. Doubly so given that no one has seen him since the ski accident and the doc has his family's blessing.
