Skiing at breck (I know, peg me) last up the t-bar. Wind shut down. I crack a beer in a wind break at the patrol shack where, yes ,13 patrollers are holding down the fort. They politely let me know they are going to sweep in a bit (it's 1). They come out 5 minutes later with their radios cracking chatter. It's a legit 60 mph gusts. My neighbor, not very bright, asks if the chatter is coming from the helicopters. WTF?
