Also, I noticed that CDOT is naming some of the plow trucks. "Darth Blader" and "Cheese Ball" are a few. That's pretty awesome. I know and work with some of these guys on occasion and they are cool as hell. So give the plow drivers some respect. They are doing a damn good job with a shoestring budget and shitty pay. Not their fault that half the dipshits on the road have inadequate equipment and skills for driving in snow.
Made it through to Abasin. Drive home should be no problem. Right?

Been a long time since I drove through the belly of the beast, but my daughter has a ski race at Keystone tomorrow. Would like to be there 7:15ish, 7:30 is absolute latest. What time do I leave Lafayette? 5:30? 5:15? Obviously need a cushion, but also don't want to get there way too early.
