Soft Snow Gymkhana - The Heritage Lab FR110
Gaijin,
I’m mounted -5.8cm on the 180 FR110 based on straight tape pull (179.60 straight / 2 = 89.8 - 84 from tail = -5.8). At first I thought I was a bit too far forward but now I absolutely love them there as it’s full on video game time!
For the R110 I think a bit further back than the FR110….I also think -7.5cm would be perfect for you.
I’m -6.75cm on my R120’s. But I also like pretty forward mounts and have a short bsl.
These skis are life changing. Just like the original Rens were years ago.

How do you feel the 120 compares to the 110? Sounds like it’s a little stiffer which makes it more business? I like my pow skis more playful than my daily, so thinking maybe the HB122 is a better fit than the 120, or maybe a Jeff118

Ya I think it’ll be a tough market to find used HL skis as none of us are going to sell em (I know that statement may be a shock for some of you to hear coming from me).
I haven’t skied the R120 yet. I can see using the R120 if it’s deep and I’m skiing fast in the wide open alpine. The HB122 will be good for soft, deepish days where vis sucks and we’re skiing slower in the trees. And the FR110 for my daily on all other soft days.
So I think you may need both an R120 AND an HB122….
PS I’m mounted at -6.75 on the R110, -5.8cm on the FR110 and -4.3cm on the HB122.
Also doing a 9 day Powder Highway trip and can’t really see bringing any other skis than the R120, HB122 and FR110 for lift skiing. These three skis will probably get the most use inbounds at WB for me this year.
