Beaterdit are you there on a bike trip? I skied Andermatt ages ago but has never heard of it for trails.

Yeah we are. There’s not a ton immediately local but there is within an hour radius by train. That Reintalalp ride is off the back of one of the Andermatt areas, like 20 minutes for us, Airolo 30. We’re heading to Flimms bike park tomorrow, that’s like an hour. Lenzerhide next week, and then Grindelwald, that’s 4-5 hours though.

Sunday’s Plan: Lock e-bike at Cascade, ride things from top of Pass Cr. Swap bikes and rally e-bike 5.5mi back up the highway.
Result: Success.

More Italy.
This day we did the Sellaronda loop in the Val di Fossa area. Mostly a scenic day, but enough sick trail to make it work. If we go back, will just focus on hitting the EWS stages and then do a big hike up high in the Dolomites.

Ape Canyon and Plains of Abraham are classics for a reason. Starting to feel a bit like fall up there with some foliage starting to turn...
Rode Smith Creek down which was a new addition onto the route for me. 1/3 loose controlled slide pumice coasting, 1/3 natural loamy pump track and 1/3 slog back to the car. I'd say it's mostly worth it to turn this into a loop rather than an out and back.
I must have just missed you Norseman. I'm on Rosy a lot as its my weekday fitness lap trail.
Here is a shot from a ride on Sunday where I took a rare break to take in the view from the exact same turn (and wait on my very slow and hungover friends) :).
