It’s San Juans in SWCO. About 7-8 hours from SLC.

Indeed, she's really good little pump track rider given this is the yard. Over a year later she still rides it with me a few times a week.
Doesn't love getting big air on skis or bikes, but has figured out good flow on both. She nearly caught one of my grown up buddies who races XC pretty high level, though he's not much of a pump track rider. He outweighs her by a 75lbs as well.
^^ Fkna @NWSkier, today was sick!! 21 miles 4500 feet of climbing!

Outerbike was a blast, and mrs. Snowaddict found her next bike.
Hopped back over the Atlantic, but a few more Europe pics:
The Europeans do shuttle busses in style. Caught a bus up to the French / Italy border.

Quick ~20 minute pedal up and over to drop into La Thuile bike park. Mont Blanc in the background.
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...db1cbd385f.jpg
La Thuile is basically what happens when you have a bunch of awesome backcountry trails that are lift served and maintained like a bike park. There's barely a berm or man-made jump to be found in the place. It's just raw and steep.

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...5240e65cf4.jpg
Lots of this kind of terrain. Per usual, pic doesn't really show how steep and rooty this is. It's on par with any fall line trail in British Columbia.

Got a quick shuttle bump up to an old fort above Bourg Saint Maurice.
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6250130e96.jpg
It's about 4k' down to town. About half way down, there's another older fort with a moat of sorts around it. It even has a drawbridge.
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6e5c7e5ecb.jpg
Then popped over for an afternoon ridge ride out of La Plagne. Some hiking to start.
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...aa2295b762.jpg
Then down the other side.
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...f9225e8c17.jpg
Then back up again to Mont Jovet.
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...86ad5fc0d4.jpg
Beers and pie at Refuge Du Mont Jovet before dipping into the 6k' descent down to valley bottom.

There's temporary electrified cow fences all over the place. They're just little strings attached to 2' tall stakes that the farmers string around all over the place. They're really hard to see when you're hauling ass down a trail. Ask me how I know. This pic taken when I came to an abrupt stop. No harm done though.

Down through a river gorge at the bottom before hopping on an evening train back to Bourg.
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d62ef933d8.jpg
Transferred over to Meribel for the second week. Meribel's big on hearts.
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c086a7e2f5.jpg
The Courcheval altiport, which you will no doubt remember as the setting for some scenes in the cinematic masterpiece "007: Tomorrow Never Dies." Also the end of stage 17 of this year's Tour de France. Supposedly it's the steepest runway in the world (18% grade). And it does indeed kinda just end, with a steep hill dropping down off the end of the runway.

A couple lift bumps and a short but hateful climb gets you up to the Meribel ridgeline, which is an awesome piece of trail. And a quick 3500' of rocky goodness back to the condo.
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...44b664c721.jpg
Bumped over to the Champagny En Vanoise zone for some more great ridgeline riding and big descents.
