These are a new set, but I’ve got about 2 years of riding on another pair on a Rascal.
I have no complaints. I think the ride quality is excellent. Smoother and damper than my experiences with Enves(m70), but not as damp as the Zipp Moto.
Durability for me has been notable. I ride 3-4 days/week in Durango and prefer rocky/fast trails. I’ve heard terrible clacking noises from finding the bottom of everything and having rocks kick up and smack the sides of the rim. No cracks so far. I like rocks and I ride fast, but I also seems to be able to ride EXO casings at 23/25 without bursting into flames. YMMV.
I’ve broken a few spokes, 2 this summer, and though I think both of them were from rock impact, the last one seems to have knocked the wheel a fair bit out of true. Full spoke replacement is gonna happen over the winter.
I’ve had a few customers crack rims, warranty is easy peasy. Rebuild and shipping both ways takes around 3 weeks.
I appreciate the USA production, recycle-ability and overall environmental efficiency advantage over traditional resin bonded carbon.

First real ride on a Lyrik/Push ACS3. Wow, not sure what I was waiting for. So plush through everything. Decent support. And I wasn’t a bit slower on the climb.

Just added two new Woom2's to the fleet. Striders no more!

Buddy was suggesting chewing gum. This seemed slightly (?) better. I had lost some fluid before I plugged it, but the plug held for the whole ride. Front brake was running about 20% power all day - something definitely better than nothing! That power did not diminish after plugging. So...great success!

Just picked up 2x Spec Fast Track 27.5 x 2.8 for my winter/fall plus setup on my Hardtail. Hard to pass up for $14 each.

Also picked up some big LED lights to mount around my pumptrack for Friday night lights sessions at my house this fall.

Grabbed another set of Dominion A4s along with Galfer rotors to be installed on ??
Either the trail bike is getting an upgrade or there's a new bike coming for next year. Probably option #2 cause new bikes make life better :biggrin:

No today but very recently picked up some Sun Ringle Duroc 50 summer rims for my e fat bike. Its pretty much immpossible to find a 197 hub laced to a non fat rim. I searched around and priced a bunch of mystery parts from alibaba and was looking at about $550. I found a guy on pinkbike (Sam Liu at Smash n shread sports in Kanata Onterrible) offering custom builds so I asked for a price. He should charge more for his wheels. Funny you mention that. I don't even have tube for these wheels, so I don't bring anything except water. I'm actually kinda scared riding this thing! I'm half broken as it is and I really don't want to get more broken if something fails on this pos! The kickstand is pretty sweet tho.

new bike showed up, it's not very exciting or quite what I wanted but trek has a good ep program, lets you backorder anything, and actually had reasonable etas. Was leaning toward that new cannondale or an orbea alma or a little nicer build but this is fine.

As is it weighs about the same as the hei hei with real tires and the new heavier seatpost so that's not going to do. Fall/winter project is make it lighter. Have wheels, cranks, seatpost, brakes for it. Need a fork and most of a drivetrain. Think I'm going to do the sid with the light blue lowers and mechanical xx1.

Liking my bikeyoke divine sl so far over the transfer sl. That extra inch is nice as is being able to put it wherever you want and also being able to tighten the clamp enough to have the post not slip like with the transfer. And it's pretty sleek looking with the sqeezy clamp.

I made very few changes: CC link, ergon grips & saddle, magura brakes, and a longer oneup dropper.

PSA: JensonUSA has Shimano RT76 rotors in 180mm for $10 right now. Same two-piece construction as RT86 just without the gimmicky aluminum/steel sandwich. I stocked up and figured the TGR hoarders could use some of these too

New Banshee Paradox frame waiting for a few more things to round out the build... parts mostly chosen with the idea that they will be swapped over to a full sus frame in the future, and the hardtail will be rebuilt as a lightweight trail cruiser

I put in a Smashpot spring in my Fox 38 fork. Really nice upgrade. Wish I would have done it sooner.

Finally went 1x12 and got 4 pot brakes on my enduro/trail bike, which will have new rubber this week as well.

New rear wheel came in, matching set now! $1900 for a kick-ass set of wheels seems pretty reasonable. Yes they are light but not stupid light. The comfort factor is huge, these things are plush. New rubber also. Took the Pathfinder’s off and beefed up with some gravel flings in a 43mm with the rugged sidewall. We ride a lot of janky-ass class 4-6 roads around here.

I always see groad like that and think, man wouldn't that be better on a light hardtail? I have a buddy that crushes that sort of thing on a gravel bike though, so maybe I just suck.

We use those janky sections to connect to long stretches of dirt road with some pavement thrown in as well. Also, we ride long days on the weekends, 80 miles on a hardtail is hard to fathom for me. 43mm tubeless at 29psi can cover a lot of mixed surface at a fast clip. It’s kinda fun doing the underbike thing sometimes also, knife at a gunfight!

Definitely agree w the fun of underbiking. Running slicks now, need to swap in some meatier rubber for some fun adventure rides.

Not super fun purchase, but just dropped way more $$$ than I’d have liked to hide my pump track w 16 6-7’ arborvitae’s after some Karen-like neighbor friction.

Got a WTB Sendero 47 for the front of my Slate. Riding a fair amount of excavator MTB trails and with the leaves starting to fall I am looking for something with more beef for the hidden rocks I am sure to hit.
I could buy a TI hardtail to ride the same trails but the twitchy quick steering of the gravel bike offroad is addictive.


VTskibum those whitetails in PA are going to love your dinner bushes, I hope you wrap them this fall.
