The light coming off the north and west parts of the sun look like artifacts but the light coming off the northwest corner looks like it could be solar flares. How good is that camera?
Camera wasn't so good (didn't want to risk my nice one with a non-NASA approved solar filter), but the lens is nice. I think what you see is just what would be a normal sunstar caused by the aperture blades.Quote:
