san juans needs some love too. The last few storms didn't drop too much. The northern areas will get their fair share if not with this one, then the next one early next week.

I'll bet you $10 its closer to 8" than 17" especially considering the wind will blow 80% of what does fall off to Kansas. And BFD, 17" in 3days is kiddie play. Anywhere else a 3day cycle would produce a minimum of 5ft.
Actually I work in good ol clear creek county. Scummit is full of suckas. Haha. And thankfully I only instruct part time. I have a second gig that pays the bills mostly. Instructing is just traveling money and a pass to anywhere in the state except the Fail family of resorts.
I do like CO and the people here, just drives me nuts it doesnt snow that much. And UT<Jackson IMHO. Just my .02. Rednecks are way more fun to hang with than mormons.
Jesus christ.
This thread went from stoked to butthurt-as-all-fuck over the course of a page.
^^^ yep the Euro is all about what it was in November while the American wants to keep the storminess.
We're fucked...

When anything is in doubt here always, always, always favor drier conditions. Why? Because we're closer to the goddamned desert than the ocean. Its fucking dry here. You can call it butthurt, but I call it reality. Sorry if you guys cant handle a dose of that once in a while. Maybe y'all are the ones who are actually butthurt. Have fun on this weekends 5" total through three days. Im sure itll be EPIC. It even says so on most of your passes. ;)
Bourbon is the new montanaskier
That's scary. Euro seems to have been far more correct over the long term than the American recently.
Is it realistic to think that having either model show a potential change is a bad thing right now? The change has to be based off of somr real-world shift, right?
montanaskier,
butthurtbourdon is now the Dean of Butthurt
Holy buzzkill Batman! Positive thoughts breed positive actions.
By the way, the internet giving weather model access to a bunch of butthurt weather jongs was the worst thing that happened to this thread.
Ignore the bourbon butthurt. It’s obvious his perpetrator didn’t even give him the courtesy of a lube job. Time to revive the stoke and can the bitching:

Oh yeah, red and brown are a good thing…
The problem with your "reality" is that it's only based on a few seasons and one of the driest calendar years on record (2012). I've been around here for a while kid, so don't try and tell me what's reality. I've seen plenty of the good, bad and ugly. That's REALITY. Either shut your fucking cake hole or move.
Food for thought on the GFS vs. ECMWF war:

While pbourdon is for sure stinking up this joint, I agree with him on being frustrated over the lack of snow.
I am looking at relocating farther West myself, but in the meantime I am going to love being in CO and taking some blower to the face. I actually would prefer to live in BC outside of Vancouver (not going to happen) or Seattle/Bellingham area, but SW Denver is treating me OK at the moment.
It does get annoying hearing the local weather bitches talk about a "huge storm hitting the mountains with totals up to 12 INCHES!!! OMGZ!!!"...but it is Colorado, after all.
Either way, looking forward to a little bit of fresh over the next couple of weeks.
