I noticed that too. Also "9 VOLT" "AA BATTS" etc. Funny thing is, none of the drivers seem to be enjoying their Priuses... as I pull past them in my super-duper-efficient 15mpg Jeep.Quote:

Today in the Home Depot parking lot there was a little white Ford Ranger with the license plate "SEA MAN". I couldn't believe it. I snapped a pic with my phone. :D
Saw one of Friday night - knackered old SL500 (canvas drop-top) with the license plate 'PEN51ON'. Will try to get a pic (and one of XGodX)

Holy fuck do I have a story for this one. I used to work in this half ass cafe, which was owned by this gigantic asshole of a guy. His name was Zip, he walked around this cafe knowing it was the biggest piece of shit, yet still acting like it was a Ritz. He walked arouned in this ugly grey suit, his dress shirt unbuttoned at the top with his chest hairs sticking out out so far you could feel them standing in front of him, with a smirk on his face as if he was a pimp (he was like 60 or so) and on his shitty BMW his plates read "Zipster". I quit a few days after I found out about his plates.
Seen in muntucky today.
BLUEBYU
Great, you named your car after a cheesy country song from decades ago. You're really quite clever.
"Baby Maker" was the nick name for the old VW buses

Toyota Prius driving 55mph in a 65 with utah plates: "Warming" and a mid-90's subaru in a perkins parking lot with montana plates: "gr8 car"
Saw one today on one of those lexus convertibles FORGVN.
This morning while driving over the GW, I saw some guy in a rather plain (and old...like 2001-ish) 330 convertible with GOTICE4U. I didn't know whether to take a picture or call for help.
i see licence plates all the time with a bunch of mixed up letters and numbers that don't make any sense, it's fuggin' crazy. i ask 'em what it means and they look at me like i'm an idiot. for example, looking out my window i see a subaru with 435 NDS. I mean, wtf is that? it doesn't even spell anything? is it some inside joke that i'm not clued in to? people.
I saw a guy the other day whose license plate just saya "THE" and on both sides there were thick layers of stickers that he changed all the time. The one on there at the time said "Love THE Planet", but im sure he just changes it to whatever is trendy and hippie at the time
Ugh - look what I just ran across on my way back to the office....

I think the ultimate plate woud be these seven letters "NO PLATE". Imagine the mayhem you could cause having this called in, or written down on some paperwork.
A Saturn Vue I saw last year on the way to Breck in Nebraska: WHATAVUE
Interestingly, the Website of Nebraska DMV says you can only have 7 characters on personalized license plate; the application for the said license plate has room for 8 characters though... Reason #127 why Nebraska sucks.
That would be a bad idea. Very bad.
