Gonna throw this to the top, and hope it'll stick.
Seriously.
indeed a sticky is needed
this thread is in serious need of stickying!
I keep trying to tape the screen to the edge of my monitor.
is there a better way?
put some superglue on your thumb and just hold the screen on the monitor for about 5min. Epoxy would work as well. It should stick.
Whos the TGR internet guru? I know it used to be frozen, but I think I remember seeing somewhere he was longer doing that. Anyways, maybe a pm to the right person would get this stickied, unless that has allready been tried.
yup sticky it should be!
Where are Fischer's skis ( BigStix 10.6, Prohete, Watea ) in stiff chart ( if we say what ROSSIGNOL B-SQUAD, HEAD M103, DYNASTAR LEGEND PRO is about 90-100% and on other side K2 Made´n AK, K2 Seth Vicious is about 0-10% ) ???
medium....
So I saw a pair of rossi b-squads in a shop the other day but they looked bigger than what the specs were from this year. I thought they would be an 07 but they had the same green flame graphics a la 06. That was the only pair I've seen so I guess I could be wrong.
I leaned on the tails of those things and they didn't move. That ski made me nervous just holding it. But I wouldn't put a legend pro anywhere near the stiffness of that thing.
Just out of curiosity, what is the explosiv flex on a scale of 1-10?
The pontoons are not recommended? Ouch.
not by me.Quote:

I think I'd recommend the 179 stiff over the soft. (Did the soft flexes ever even get made?) The stiffs are medium/soft flex anyway, and still super light. Anything softer won't really cut it on corn/hairball stuff, unless you're really light.Quote:

10- titan pro / Squad (280+)
9 - LP/supa stiff bros (270)
8 - Monster / explosiv (260)
7 - big daddy / stiff bros (250)
6 - ANT
5 - mantra / ak swallowtail (240)
4 - gotama / soft bros (230)
3 - yellow ak rockets
2 - PR / lawnchair (200 or less)
1 - sanouk/made'n
0 - green ak rockets
3-rockets
move the PR up to 3? unprecedented
PR's = -1
Yellar AK Rockets.
edit-
aka: the yellow wheelie
not the blue noodle
swallowtails were about as stiff as the mantra (IMHO)
do you mean the yellow 200 rockets?
yes.Quote:

the 190's flexed as a pair of skis base2base is softer than a single PR
Heh-moving up 4 points on the manley scale next year.
Agreed, the Mantras are way softer than I expected.
I completely concur with a titan pro as a 10. You have to flex them to believe it.
Curious if someone could relate the Iggy index to this?Quote:

This is really, really helpful. maybe edit into page 1?Quote:

so would a Stocki asteroid/DP/SS pro be like a 8.5?
IMVHO I don't think roids are as stiff as a Monster (at least the 201s).
And 186cm LPs feels same/tad softer than 183 Monsters,imho.Quote:

any other add's? changes?
I got the 04-05 183s from a Head´s team rider, so in that sense they make them a "team", and they seem (by eyeballing) to be of the same build than the 193s. And they have the "team" thingy written on tail too.Quote:

Doing a careless "HandFlexTM" could give a bit misleading info.
But,as said,i have only flexed LPs,not skied ´em, so i am handicapped in that sense (too).
Marshal, Any opinion on where you would put the Sugar Daddy on that list? I seem to recall you had some of the original one's with plates? Well done though, definitely helpful.
i've never ski'd on sugars. but they are softer than a gotama right?
I think the ANT is stiffer than the stiff Bro Model. The Legend Pro definitely does not feel stiffer than the m103 or Explosiv -- though I haven't skied the LP -- it feels a lot like the Explosiv.Quote:
