Oh So true. Dropped a 10 strip and drove across NY with two sleds in tow in the Valentine day storm 07 and got the hotel and Jim Cantore from the weather channel was there talking about the huge lake effect snow. What a crazy trip.
Fired up the sled and got stuck within 15 minutes when I got off trail. Needless to say it was a fantastic trip with all the snow.
I got so high I touched the sky,
Never got back 'til the fourth of July.
Yes, I was walking the dog.
When I was in Amsterdam, I took mushrooms then went to a torture museum. That was a fucking awful idea.
Hey bitchass Wong where were you in 2005?? Working on donkey punch kung fu? Licking your master crack? Washing the real monk's underwear?
I bumped the thread cuz I thought it was funny. It's ok to talk about cuz it's been a long fucking time since I been teh high. I am not cool. I am the anticool, I am mother fucking anti-freeze. I am not even hot.
So unless you are able to shaolin yourself back to 2005 to put it in the right place, or go smoke an admins pole to get them to move something to the padded room just chill the fucking fung ku down and relax a bit.
Great thread. lol at the salvia haters.
Of all the things I've done, salvia, while they high is short lived, was by far the the most intense trip. When you're on shrooms, lsd, even pcp, no matter how crazy you get you can sort of ground yourself because you know 'why' you're experiencing this new/ different reality. (I'm seeing shit, I feel insane, because I took teh drugs)
Salvia? With salvia you're basically reborn into a new new world. You wake up basically in outer space, with no real concept of how you got there. Really unsettling, most people how try it make it a one time thing.
Most people!
I've eaten a lot of mushrooms in my day, but one experience was way different than the others. I used to pick them at work (stunzi) so they was always a fresh batch drying on my kitchen counter during the late fall/early winter. So I get shitty drunk with a guy from work...12 beers in a few hours drunk. Then I eat a handful right off the counter. He didn't eat any and he left after I had been sprinting down the hallway and diving on to the couch for about an hour. After he left next thing I know I'm waking up to the sound of my roommate opening the front door. I'm passed out, drooling on the carpet and making chewbaca noises (not on purpose)...and I feel GOOD and not freaked out or anything...like on a whole new level. My roomate looks at me as I'm coming to and making noises and laughing and asks "how many did you eat?" I then ran and hid in our pantry and just laughed at him as he laughed at me. I also remember sitting on my couch and watching these explosions of primary colors on the wall. They were like 14" circles appearing on the wall in a burst, like a firework...that was a good time, but being older now and thinking back...I probably wasn't too far off from heart failure at some point there right after the shrooms hit and I passed out
this one is too funny

I took a 2 foot RoaR and lost my mind for 40 minutes walking sideways then eventually falling over soaked in sweat. Had a buddy break down and cry holding on to a stair banister and then getting on his hands and knees listening to the ground every minute contemplating suicide. Never heard s good experience. Went back to the head shop in my town to see if this was normal and the lady told me that I did it wrong and need to lay on a couch in a dark room and listen to some pink floyd, yeah fucking right. That shit is straight brain poison, that being legal and weed or shit even ice not being legal is crazy.
I learned long ago never to go to weird with a phone handy.
Unfortunately I learn that lesson a lot.
I ate some doses and went to see some DJs at this bar/ small venue place in town last friday. I kept running into people i havnt seen in over a month (apparently I havnt been out in a while) and one friend whos been out of town a long time. It was easy to groove, hard to try to communicate with people, I must have seemed out of it. fun time tho.
It has been a few days since my episode, and I’ve done quite a bit of reflection over what went down. I just reread what I wrote, and realized it ends as though it was a negative experience. The reason I’m writing this addendum to the end is because it was not a negative experience.
Of course it was scary, but I firmly believe that only through challenging ourselves can we truly grow and develop. It is these types of experiences where life is on the line that makes us stronger. Surviving crazy shit gives perspective. After something like this, the small absurdities of everyday life that may seem big, but really aren’t, don’t seem so big anymore.
The more we conquer challenges, the stronger we get. Our knowledge of ourselves grows, and with that we can take on bigger and better challenges. This is the life of accomplishment: the good life.
Excellent post Rossta!
After some very challenging experiences with and without chemical help I could not agree more. You sum this truth up perfectly in a few paragraphs.
It is not just through mind-expanding drugs, but our reaction to trauma, loss and pain that causes our brain to release chemicals in these moments of our lives.
We grow, we learn empathy, we respond to others differently and we become "better" people.
Mushrooms especially can take us to places in our minds that show our realness to those we love and can deepen intimacy and friendships.
Of course tripping will always be different things to everyone, but I am glad you have had the positve trip that opened your eyes and made you share it!
Ever forward, never backward.
I went to work tripping on acid I'd dropped at 4am once. Worked ski patrol. Just my fucking luck the hill had been waxed with a thick coat of freezing rain and we had to walk up a mile of chair, climbing each tower to knock the ice off the sheaves so we could get it turning. I puked my guts out halfway up.
But I think that was from the whisky I'd been drinking all night.
But he was the closest one!
I forgot about this thread.
I sleep walk.
That's about all the crazy I can handle.
The other night I was sitting there looking at my alarm clock, and I was like: ok God, if you're real, go on and bend time....and the numbers started moving around and eventually it was like time was moving so fast God was stealing my whole lifetime just sitting there watching the clock. But I was so excited that there was this concrete proof that he was there, and I couldn't wait to tell the first person I saw.
Shrooms are falling from the sky these days! I love it when it rains.
edit - I didn't notice this was in the wrong forum! Jong!
People got bored growing weed that is available everywhere.
It's true.
True. Buddy who grows in Bozeman said none of the college kids are smoking weed they're all shrooming now. Shit you can get prepackaged shroom candy bars.

I'm 45 living in Japan with a rad life-- family of five, one of them mortgages. Things have sucked, but things have been alright, too. Things are good now.
I can't tell you how often I reflect on my psychedelic days. They were 25 years ago but I remember those trips almost daily. I remember seeing God. I remember connecting with the universe. I remember sitting on a rock and watching the universe unfold before me.
There is a reason psychedelics were such a large part of the foundation to pretty much all religion.
I guess I should read this thread. Or, maybe I already know what it's about.
It seems like there are loads of people microdoising these days. I know physicians, venture capitalists, inventors and computer geeks who do it a lot. My pediatrician friend swears by it. There is a regular mushroom ritual event that takes place almost weekly in Homestead, FL., that she has supposedly taken her daughter to. I wonder whether this borders on abuse? Personally, I don't get it. The only reason that I can fathom to do mushrooms is to hear the mountains, see the music and to see lights melting
I red a book called food of the gods.
Their theory: religion is based on psylocibin.
Further only with cultivation of cattle religion is possible.
But mostly the book was boring just the historic drawings of magic mushrooms were interessting.
For me a bonfire is a crucial to spirituality and mushrooms. I guess people sitting around it and taking mushroons is the key to alot of questions were all this came from.
In Utah there is a new religious movement called The Divine Assembly - the critical sacrament of the organization is the cubensis mushroom, which is protected under the 2006 supreme court decision in Gonzales v. O Centro Espírita Beneficente União do Vegetal. Towards the end of this month they're going to have a 3 day festival out at Seabase where they all trip their brains out. Pretty interesting group.

wow, this group is cool! i would love to go on there religious gatherings. i bet they are nice people : )
i am a bit confused by the date they use.... in my opinion the 21. of june. the solstice is the stronger date to perform such a meeting. this is a spiritual date in my opinion.
the 21 of December one is even more stronger for me... i can feel the energy of the darkness and this general craziness. makes sense to me that the rom kath curch is using the 24th of Dec for there big festivity.
14 days to go for solstice yeaahhhh .... time for a bonfire

They used to minister to the poor and needy. Now it’s just a racket.
Chugged a mushroom milk shake in Bali. Paddled out at Uluwatu and tripped balls. Good times.
Mushroom goo/concentrate has changed the game for folks I know. No shitty taste. No upset stomach.
Micro dosing ain’t that easy tho. Even a grain of rice will get ya cookin.
