Helmet & jerseys arrived today after ordering after midnight on Monday.
Stoked. Got the large lid based on reviews saying they fit small. Complete set of alternate pads is so helpful. Swapped in smaller cheek pads and bigger everything else.
Got medium SS and large LS based on reviews and plan for elbow pads with LS. Works good on my 5’ 10” 165lb with pot belly and no muscles.

You scored. Nice.
How do they fit? I'm a classic Aria 'round oval' fit, curious if these fit that head style or others
EDIT: Disregard. I must be drunk, missed the post above answering the same effin question I just asked
Where are the drivetrain deals?
As in, the blue collar drivetrain buyer who just wants SLX/XT/GX level stuff.
Any deals on park worthy 29” rear wheels? Thinking of having a part wheel for my bike with a beef ass tire so I don’t blow up my we are ones with tires I’m willing to pedal riding lifts.
I grabbed an XT cassette from the CO Cyclist closeout to have in my parts store. It arrived in a ziploc bag within a plastic shipping bag, no cardboard, the plastic fake freehub holding the cassette together was shattered. Almost like it was a take off or something. the cogs look straight, true, I guess I'll find out when I install it someday.
Bike closet has XT cassettes for $99. Sometimes they drop lower
Their site is definitely "fuck buying from this scam site" level look/feel but I've both purchased from them and returned purchased goods to them. Purchase went smoothly, return IIRC took longer than expected to get a credit but wasn't anything ridiculous. Would def buy from them again.
I've bought a ton of stuff from bike closet and returned a few things. The 'I'm cheap section'/open box page is pretty rad (but you can't return open box stuff. My son just got a Poc Otocon Race helmet for $59 from them...
Somebody's kid or wife needs this, no?

Anyone seen any deals on 165mm cranksets? Running SRAM dub BB now, but ok to swap.
Looks like a few 165mm choices left on planetcyclery.
Any deals floating around on basic trail bikes? My wife is getting back into riding and her 2013 giant trance really could use $500 of suspension work that I would rather put toward a modern bike. Size M 29” 120-140mm travel mostly easier trails.
Canfield has 165mm cranks, and 150/155mm as well if you want to go even shorter. Not super cheap or super light but they are solid. Have had them on my Rail for 3 yrs now.
Not the greatest build/suspension but...you can get a new Rocky Mountain Element 10 for $1500 in any size.

I'd probably want something lighter for the wife but that's still a lot of bike for $1500.
Basically a Code RSC with the new ugly master cylinder for $99 a brake, hose routing is a little goofy.... The site looks a little sketchy, but they have been legit for me on two seperate orders.

^^^ Great performing brakes… but really fucking stupid design. Funny to see they’re already blowing them out.
What about this for $1699?

Anyone have any experience with the Elite Suito trainers they have on there? Zwift curious for next winter, this seems like a cheap way to get the job done.

Seems like a sick deal to me.
No experience with their smart trainers but I have a set of their rollers and they’re very nice.

Gore stuff is very high quality. I love my Endure jacket. It looks like if you sign up for their emails you can take 20% off and they’re also running a promo if you bundle pants and the jacket. don't know if those deals stack.

Our Elite Suito has been trouble free for a few seasons now. $370 is a no-brainer deal.
Agreed w Evan, no brainer at that price. I’ve had good luck w my Elite Direto I got on closeout when Performance closed their brick & mortars many years ago.

I just got a brand new XTR derailluer and (band clamp) shifter delivered for $239.00 off of ebay.
Got served up with a very convincing Blackdiamondonlinesales website link from Facebook, and excitedly started filling my shopping cart with gear at 80% off, until realizing this was too good to be true. AI has reduced the cost of creating elaborate targeted (they knew what I could barely resist) scams to effectively zero. Beware.
Yeah, these are getting more elaborate and convincing and targeting even lesser known brands. I stumbled across a POC spoof site with similar unbelievable deals a year or so ago. The seller's location in a strip mall in rural VA was a big tip off. Since then I've noticed them popping up for Mt. Hardware, Cotopaxi and others. Buyer beware.
I would definitely get those Code Stealths over the G2 R. I ran the G2 R for a couple years and they're trash. Maybe a little better than the Levels but a pretty shit brake overall and you'll run into inevitable lever return problems. I also tried to recycle mine by running them on my singlespeed and ultimately had to replace the levers
Didn't they rename the Level series the G2s? I would agree with Wes. I have Level Ts on my first Enduro bike and they are trash.
