Showed up in the mail last week.
Spinning it on a lunch break from splitting firewood.

I was walking through a thrift shop about 5 years ago and saw this album sitting in the middle of the floor.. not even by the crates of old albums. Best dollar I've spent in a long time. Saw these guys live on my 21st birthday while on X..

^ It's getting to be that time of year.
Been in the crates since 1989.
Just cracked the seal tonight!

Scored this box set at the used bookstore last weekend. Only set me back $1.00.
It’s supposed to contain 10 albums, but it’s missing one. :(
Still a sweet score and the nine records that are here are in fine shape.

Still trying to figure out if this is a Christmas album…

I thought you’d have Mojo on the turntable

So how'd they sound Dookie?
I bought a nice system recently, I haven't had one since college, and this was one of the first albums I had to get.

They sound (and look) great!
Granted, my system is pretty low-end and comprised of mix-matched components and the acoustics of my house—which is pretty much a not-so-much glorified ski cabin—aren’t great either, but yeah I am impressed with the releases. Betty and her posse definitely got me dancing in my kitchen and slapping my air bass with wild abandon. And they sound way better than the CD copies I have.
All five of the albums are gatefold, vinyl is thick, extensive liner notes, and robust inner protective sleeves.
I give the label, Light In The Attic Records, a two thumbs up recommendation for sure.
They have a lotta cool stuff in their catalog.
Definitely gonna be plunking down on The Black Angels bundle!

And I’mma have to bust out my copy of Street Lady now!
