I always look forward to the el hefe surf posts! Love it. Most here have winterized, but we're supposed to have some sun next week, so I'm hoping to get out a bit more.

42 hours for the season on the old girl and its not even the 4th yet
This we made the switch from a direct drive to a v-drive so im pumped to actual be able to surf now. I was wondering how many boards people keep in their boat? I keep looking at boards and feel like need to have a big quiver of boards. we currently have a Liquid force happy pill 5'4'' which is super stable and maybe kinda slow and boring, then a Connely habit which might be too small for me. Im looking a adding a liquid force pod foil board 4'9" since it can be used as a surf or foil and a phase 5 model x. would it be ridiculous for us to have 4 boards in the boat?
My wife and I are a foot apart in height and 100 lbs in weight, so we run a total of 4 boards between the two of us. We each have a skim and a surf board. My kiddo will probably just use my wife's once he is able to ride himself given she is so small.
I think you will naturally find you tend to ride one board more than the other but the differences between skim and surf models is so great you can justify it.
Switch backside bottom turn. Bigger ocean board that I got my buddy to do a "Ultradeck" lay up on. Works well.
