Added the NRS thigh straps and rigged up a foot brace for now.
With the drop stitch floor, might work ok as a stand up.

Finally going to pull the trigger on a SUP.
Use case is 100% flat water, probably 30% of the time screwing around with a a toddler on board, 30% fishing.
What's the going recomendation for brand/board around or under 500 bucks. irocker/high society/isle/bote?
I went inflatable they are soft when you fall on them
I just toss it in the truck and never worry about dinging the board
I will even use it to cushion a hard board
and i have fixed hard boards with epoxy
I got a cheap ish inflatable off amazon for the basics of the use case you’re describing. Board works fine on Tahoe. Not the fastest by any stretch but plenty functional for what you’ve described. I paid less than 300Quote:

After spending days on the Solshine in fabulous water conditions my friends and i have come to the conclusion they are next level boards. Performance sports car as to truck like rafts of other companys.
must be the new solrivershine? I just did 3 days on the cache la poudre II's and III's getting the hang of it on the hala atcha. Got the river bug now. Didn't see any other sup's.

The halas are good boards, after riding the Sol board hala feels rafty to me.
I have had the sol train for a bunch of years and used it on easy water before the big improvements/rocker on the river boards. Happened to find a great deal on the used atcha, so that's what I got. I'll look out for a chance to ride the rivershine when I can.Quote:

Nice day to get out for a paddle on the way down to visit my dad for Father’s Day yesterday. In the 2nd pic you can see the peak of Pico. Looked much closer IRL, pic makes it look so far away. Don’t think I’ve been up to the chittenden dam since I was a teen up there drinking. Forgot what a nice gem it is.

Wow..frothy SUP is impressive and inspiring.
Upper Colorado and the Arkansas are still running here. I'm heading to T-ride in 2 weeks. Hopefully there is at least some mini-golf on the San Miguel. I looked to see if Sol had a storefront. Address is the same as Jagged Edge. I'll stop in...maybe get a chance to ride the new boards.
I've SUP'd the Upper C, State Bridge - Two Bridges at flows as low as 560cfs without any issue. In my exp you can pretty much SUP the Upper C summer-late fall. They release enough water from Lake Granby to keep it going. Rancho Del Rio- Two Bridges was my fav. SUP stretch, I may try to hit that later this summer.
I've yet to do the San Miguel though I'm in La Plata county now. Haven't been on the Animas yet this year either, but that may change soon.
