Thanks, while there is that depressing-ass strip of land known as Erie, PA between Lake Chautauqua and the Western Reserve of Connecticut (otherwise known as Northeast Ohio), It's been my experience that the majority of Chautauqua enthusiasts hail from that state, while only stopping in Erie for the Chick Fil A and to see if the highway is closed across the border due to blizzard conditions.
As someone who grew up in Sullivan County, went to college in Syracuse, I appreciate this thread.
The upstate line basically goes across upper westchester, cuts off about 1/2-2/3 of rockland. But yeah, you guys are close ;)
Many people in Orange County commute down to the city now, but like, nobody from Sullivan.
Definitely Upstate, my old home town. Some maple walnut Abbott's custard please.
